The Detailed Review of Huawei Huawei Watch GT3
The GT series in the Huawei line is the most balanced in terms of price-functionality ratio. The watch demonstrates excellent autonomy (up to 10 days of active use), a rich sports component, a full set of functions for health monitoring, as well as works with calls, notifications, and music.
Appearance
Amoled screen, very bright and high contrast. Brighter than previous models in the series. The glass protrudes above the body and has a bevel on the sides and white notches – very similar to the GT2.
On the side of the case, there are 2 buttons – a protruding spinning wheel and a flat recessed one. The spin button is responsible for navigating the menu and selecting items. The flat button is responsible for calling up the training mode, but its value can be reconfigured for quick access to any desired function.
The glass of this model is ordinary silicate. The body is made of stainless steel, and the lower part that comes into contact with the hand is ceramic. The watch looks elegant and attractive and goes well with the office style of clothing.
Health monitoring
In the GT3 model, sensors and software have been updated. Now there are more LEDs and 2 types of light – this allows you to more accurately monitor the pulse, oxygen level, and other body parameters.
The health monitoring technology here is the latest version – Trueseen 5.0. The watch does track heart rate, sleep and stress very accurately.
The quality of sleep tracking is traditionally the highest on the market. The watch tracks the phases of sleep, as well as the quality of breathing during sleep. After sleep, its quality is assessed and recommendations for improvement are given. They are able to determine daytime sleep.
In addition, the watch allows you to monitor the level of stress, control the female cycle, and determine the level of oxygen in the blood (including automatically around the clock).
Sports opportunities
The watch supports about 100 kinds of sports, 20 of which are professional. Professional – this means that they support GPS, distance cutoff, climb, and other specific settings for individual sports.
These are such types as running (simple and trail), swimming (pool and open water), cycling (also of different types), skiing (cross-country, mountain, snowboarding), strength training, and even triathlon.
An important point – now the watch supports external sensors for heart rate, speed, and cadence. This is an important difference between the current generation of watches and previous models.
The pool clock works great too. Clearly track the distance, do not lose the pools. Well, measure the pulse in the water. An important point – you need to tighten the strap. And do it on land, before the water hits your hand.
Media and notifications
The watch supports music control from the phone – both local and streaming. In addition, there are about 2GB of internal memory, where you can download your favorite tracks and go for a run without a phone.
The clock has a speaker and a microphone, you can talk on them. This is convenient, for example, in training, or at home when the phone is far away. The voice quality is excellent.
Autonomy
The Huawei Watch GT3 is traditionally very good in terms of autonomy. In my mode, with training every other day and all notifications and monitoring, they confidently live 8-10 days.
If you turn off part of the monitoring, the watch can live up to 14 days without recharging. This is an excellent result. There is no other watch on the market with Amoled screens and comparable autonomy.
