Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite – Simple Tab That Is Made to Surprise You
Samsung often presents its new products in a doublet. Paired with the overall tablet S7 FE, the more compact Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite entered the market. What are the strengths of this device – let’s figure it out in the review.
Design and appearance
Aluminum alloy is chosen as the material for the body of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, as in the older version of the tablet. This definitely cannot be attributed to the minuses, even despite the fact that the weight of the gadget has slightly increased compared to tablets with plastic cases. The all-metal body gives solidity and will last longer.
The diagonal is 8.7 inches – it’s not too much and not too little. Such dimensions are quite enough not to complicate the operation of the tablet in mobile mode. Based on the dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will suit both an adult user and a child.
Display
The gadget uses a TFT matrix with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. Compared to the earlier model, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, the screen remains about the same.
The manufacturer cannot be reproached for choosing a display for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite (especially considering the price of the tablet) – there is decent brightness, good viewing angles, and good color reproduction.
Sound quality
The tablet is equipped with two speakers, so we can talk about stereo sound. As in older versions, there is an option Dolby Atmos, which makes the sound from the speakers more voluminous. To activate it, you will have to go to the menu – by default it is disabled.
In any Samsung product, due attention is paid to sound quality – the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is no exception. There is enough volume reserved here, and the sound level is above average. Movies can be watched without headphones – the speakers work out at a very decent level.
By the way, about the headphones. For lovers of wired sound, there is good news – the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is equipped with a 3.5 mm jack, which is gradually becoming a rarity. Apparently, the manufacturer decided that since the model does not belong to the premium class, you should not insist on using wireless headphones.
Hardware performance
This model has a processor from MediaTek, which is quite familiar to gadgets from this price segment. The eight-core MediaTek MT8768T, together with Android 11, gives a good tablet speed. In this regard, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is also preferable to its “predecessor” – 8 cores versus 4 provide a significant performance boost.
As for RAM, the tablet is sold in two versions: 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. This volume will be enough even to run several applications at the same time.
Software
The tablet runs on Android 11 OS – it is an efficient system with good functionality. The tablet easily works with drives up to 1 TB, which is a definite plus.
Cameras and shooting quality
Compared to the previous model, the characteristics of the tablet’s cameras remained unchanged – these are 8 megapixels and 2 megapixels. Not the highest rates, but this is enough for domestic needs.
Autonomy
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is equipped with a 5100 mAh battery that is familiar to tablets in this price range. With moderate use, the gadget can be charged no more than once every two days.
