We note design similarities to the Pro flagship, with the softer color scheme and mostly flattened body making them more similar to the Buds 2.
However, cutouts for sensors and microphones are now more visible than in any previous version of the Galaxy Buds. However, the appearance of the device is not the most important issue. Deeper cutouts for microphones and sensors directly affect sound quality, especially with active noise cancellation (ANC). Battery Life
Each earbud is powered by a 61mAh battery, while the latest noise-canceling AirPods Pro has a 43.5mAh battery.
Samsung estimates the battery life of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro at 5 hours of playback with noise reduction turned on and 8 hours with it turned off. The charging case of the earphones has a built-in 500mAh battery (vs. 519mAh of the AirPods Pro). With ample battery capacity, users get 18 hours of playback without ANC and 29 hours with ANC off. The Buds 2 Pro also supports Qi wireless charging.
