What to see during the first day?
In order to feel the general atmosphere of the city and get a general idea about it, experienced tourists are advised to go on a 3-4-hour city tour. During such a trip, tourists are introduced to the main attractions of Barcelona: the Cathedral in the Gothic Quarter, Rambla, Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and an observation deck on Montjuic, which offers stunning panoramas of the entire city.

The second day
This excursion will be the perfect choice for the traveller who wants to see a lot in a limited period of time. Tourists will see the brilliant creations of the architect Antoni Gaudi, exhibits of the Spanish Village Museum of Architecture. At the end of the excursion program, there will be an opportunity to visit the Picasso Museum and see the world-famous works of the artist.
It may take two to three hours to visit the Ciutadelia Park, built back in 1888. This park has become a favourite walking place for locals and tourists. Magnificent fountains manicured lawns, and shade of trees will impress any visitor. On the territory of the park, there are several objects, in the construction of which a young student of Gaudi took part.
The final day
The last day of exploring the Catalan capital can be divided into two parts. Before lunch, it is worth going to the Benedictine Monastery, which is located in the vicinity of Barcelona on the Montserrat mountain range. The monastery is the main shrine of Catalonia, it was founded in the 10th century by Abbot Olive. The surroundings of the monastery are incredibly picturesque!
After lunch, the tour of Barcelona can be continued at the local zoo, the structure of which is very different from the usual cages and aviaries, because the animal territories are separated here by moats with water. The Barcelona Zoo was founded in the mid-40s. of the last century and boasts a large collection of rare exotic animals. At the entrance to the zoo, there is one of the symbols of modern Barcelona, the sculpture “Lady with an umbrella”.
At the end of the third day, you can go to the National Art Museum of Catalonia. It is here that guests have the opportunity to trace the thousand-year history of the city’s development, the paths of the development of its culture and architecture. Visitors to the museum will see a huge collection of paintings and photographs, Romanesque frescoes, which have no analogues in the world, deserve special attention.
