Every Man Should Have These 3 Types of Trousers

Every Man Should Have These 3 Types of Trousers

It often happens that when you are going to meet friends and think about what to wear, you realize that all you have is 2-3 pairs of jeans, some of which are washed, others are torn, and the third are the most unloved. And another pair of trousers from the suit, which for several years has not converged on the fifth point. Don’t get in that situation, guys. Let’s take a look at the three types of pants you need in your wardrobe. Whether it’s a casual evening out with friends or a job interview, you should be ready for just about anything.

Jeans

If you don’t have a pair of jeans, then we don’t know what planet you live on. Jeans are one of the most common and versatile types of trousers.

A pair of dark washed blue jeans can go with just about everything you have in your closet. Depending on your work, you may wear them to work. If you’re out with friends, jeans go great with a T-shirt or sweater, with a shirt and just about any shoes, you can even wear them on a date.

You need to have several pairs of jeans in different cuts and colours. For example, dark blue, black and some “colourful”. By colourful, we don’t mean super colourful. It would be terrible. Rather that which is not black or blue. The safest option is gray (same goes for suits: if you’re going to have three suits, make them black, blue, and gray as that will cover most situations).

If you don’t like gray or want more “life” in your closet, go for olive green or maybe red jeans.

Chinos

If you need to go to an event that is a bit more formal but not a wedding then chinos are a great option. Your safest colour choice is blue or grey. Blue, especially, is a good colour. Many guys have shorter chinos than other trousers. This gives a more modern look.

Classic trousers

Finally, as we continue to go up in formal terms, let’s end this list with dress pants. At some point, you will have to go to a wedding, a fancy dinner, an interview, or some other event, and you will need to dress nicely.

As always, the safe colours are black, blue, and gray, and frankly, for dress pants, we would go for those colours. If you already have an extensive collection of suits and trousers, you can experiment with different colours and patterns (pinstripes, for example). For starters, though, we’d suggest choosing solid black, blue, or grey.

Obviously, there are a ton of different types of trousers. If you’re just starting to build your wardrobe and are wondering what to buy first, these are the three we’d focus on.

Jeans, chinos, and dress pants cover most of the formal range and should give you a lot of versatility in creating different outfits. So, if you don’t have all of these in your closet, it’s best to fix it right away! Find all the options available in one place – Jacamo website.
