Did You Know That These Things Can Be Worn In Winter?
Fashion built its empire on a dictatorship. Wear this, otherwise, you will be mocked. Don’t wear something if you don’t want to look outcast. But fashion is in flux, influenced by the Internet, social networks, and some rapidly changing views. And fashion is no longer so irrefutable. Here are some of the most common cold-weather myths we’ve heard that we want to disprove.
You need a new wardrobe for autumn and winter
Climate change alone casts doubt on this claim. Once upon a time, the change of seasons meant a total wardrobe change, but today – when the weather and fashion trends change rapidly – your style should also be changeable.
You need a few key pieces, and you should also try layering looks, which means you can use the items you already own rather than waste money on updating your entire wardrobe. You need a top shirt, denim jacket, shawl collar cardigan and thermal underwear.
Prints fit only summer
Do you have a favourite floral T-shirt that you don’t want to put away in your closet? Or a big zigzag shirt you’d like to wear some more? Directly off the runway, we recommend the trend: put on a shirt with a print, one of the colours of which matches the colour of the jumper under the cut-out jumper. Clothes with prints can be worn in the evening, for example, you can wear a suit or jacket with a geometric pattern.
Sunglasses is worn only in summer
The winter sun is just as strong as the summer one, so it’s important to protect yourself. Choose glasses that are 100 per cent UVA and UVB resistant. In fact, contrary to popular belief, they are not that expensive. Sunglasses not only protect your eyes but also elevate your winter look. The right pair of glasses will only improve your winter wardrobe. Try glasses with honey-brown tortoiseshell lenses with a tweed jacket, and glasses with black lenses with black frames for a coat or suit.
Layering is just one thing on top of another
If you want to look fashionable, you have to learn the right layering. You don’t have to pull on fifteen sweaters and hope for the best. Think about the structure of each item and how things fit together. It looks like a puzzle. The main thing is to understand the structure of the fabric and its weight.
Start with the thinnest and lightest thing and create looks based on it. Put on a T-shirt or shirt first, then thicker items such as an overshirt, knitted sweater and light jacket, and on top of that, outerwear and accessories. Also, pay attention to the silhouette.
A short bomber jacket means longer items are worn underneath. Put on your longest piece (shirt or T-shirt) first, then your hoodie, and then your jacket. This is not a guide to action, but rather a wish. There are exceptions to this – for example, a thin sweater worn under a shirt reminds us of the 70s.
