Perissa beach lies 15 km south of the capital, it stretches for almost 7 km. The coastal strip here is covered with black and dark grey sand, which heats up strongly in the sun (you need special shoes), and the bottom is rocky in the water. The sea near the coast is surprisingly clean and transparent, the beach is protected from the wind by the rock of Mesa Vuno, so there are almost no waves here.
