They are also distinguished by special chassis tuning, well-developed aerodynamics, and the presence of a drift mode. The power of the power plant is enough to reduce the acceleration time to 4.5 seconds. Torque – 973 N * m. However, it is worth noting that the above characteristics are available only for 8 seconds when the over-boost mode is activated. The maximum speed is 210 km/h. The power of the three-engine unit under normal conditions reaches 435 hp. at a torque of 808 N * m. Compared to the standard version of the e-Tron 55 Quattro, power has been increased by 75 hp. The torque is 247 Nm more than before. The battery capacity of the electric crossover is 95 kWh.
The increase in the power of cars has led to the fact that the range has decreased. Without recharging, the car can now travel no more than 350 km. The range of the Sportback version was 5 km longer. As standard, the Audi e-Tron can travel 400 km on a WLTP cycle without recharging. New versions of the electric crossover have received characteristic features: among them, it is worth noting the brutal aggressive exterior design, extended wheel arches, and the presence of appropriate markings. Sports seats have appeared in the cabin, and on the front panel, there are elements that have a matte finish, which is made of aluminum and carbon fiber.
In standard mode, the rear-wheel drive system is used, and when the rear wheels slip, the torque is transmitted to the front axle. Each of the presented electric motors on the rear axle drives one wheel, the movement of one wheel – for this, a torque vectoring system is involved. The connection of the front in the “Sport” mode does not occur, which allows the car to perform controlled skids. It is worth noting that handling is also improved due to the reconfigured adaptive air suspension.
The ground clearance, if necessary, can be reduced by 7.6 cm. A feature of the “charged” versions of the Audi e-Tron is also active aerodynamics. It is achieved through the thoughtful operation of the front air intakes, which remain open only to cool the brakes or the components of the all-wheel drive system, which reduces air resistance.
By default, the calipers are painted black and have S logos. Orange calipers with e-Tron markings are optionally available.
